Jen MacGregor is a postdoctoral associate in the Faculty of Information and Media Studies at the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
Jen completed her PhD in social psychology at the University of Waterloo in 2011 and her graduate research examined self-esteem and communication in close relationships. As a trainee in the Preventing Violence Across the Lifespan (PreVAiL) Research Network, Dr. MacGregor’s current work focuses on domestic violence and knowledge translation. She is a co-investigator on a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) Partnership Development Grant for DV@worknet and collaborated with Western’s Centre for Research & Education on Violence Against Women & Children (CREVAWC) and the Canadian Labour Congress to implement Canada’s first nation-wide survey on the impact of domestic violence in the workplace. Dr. MacGregor has methodological expertise in quantitative data analysis, survey design and integrative review methodology.
