Honouring the Career
of Dr. Peter Jaffe
Celebrating a legacy of service, hard work and dedication

As a gift to Peter to celebrate this milestone, we are working to raise funds for an annual lecture – the Peter Jaffe Lectureship on Ending Domestic Violence. As you know, Peter has dedicated his career to saving lives from the harm of domestic violence. He has influenced generations of researchers, mental health professionals, lawyers, judges, school systems, families, and individual children. We hope you will join us in honouring Peter’s legacy. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to offer this Lectureship annually in perpetuity.
To kickstart this fundraising initiative and recognize Peter’s achievements, the Faculty of Education at Western University will generously match all donations dollar for dollar up to $10,000! We will also be doing specific outreach for this fundraising effort. If you wish to learn more about this Lectureship, please reach out to Rosie Triebner, Director of Community Engagement & Development, Faculty of Education, at rtriebne@uwo.ca. We will be reaching out with more details and announcements.

All donations receive a
charitable tax receipt.

Would you please take a moment to add a note to the Padlet page we've set up for Peter?
Padlet is an online service that allows users to share text notes, photos, videos, and other media.
Consider it an online scrapbook! Here are some guidelines for adding to Padlet.
To publish:
• Click on the unique link: https://padlet.com/crevawc/drpeterjaffe
• Once you access the Padlet, you can double-click anywhere on the canvas to create a post.
• In the subject line, you can title your post.
• In addition to writing, you can include numerous different media to your post.
Clicking on any of the empty hexagon shapes (or the hexagon with three dots) opens all your media options.
For example, you can upload files from your computer, create audio or video recordings, create drawings, and post images, GIFs, Youtube videos, Spotify songs or any other website content via the web search option.

• Unless you are signed into your own Padlet account, your post will show up as anonymous.
If you are not signed in but would like Peter to know who posted, remember to add your name on the post.

• At the bottom left, you can also change the background colour of your post.
• Once you have created your post, click on Publish.
